(v)Hours or frequencies of flight;
(vi)Matters affecting the flight safety of the glider;
(vii)Signature of the pilot-in-command;
f)The following records concerning the execution of repairs, alterations or maintenance:
(i)Date and place of execution;
(ii)Reason for execution, and the location and description of the parts replaced;
(iii)Date of confirmation, and the signature or the name and seal of the person who has made the confirmation.

 

3. Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, only the matters described in subparagraph a)and fi of the same paragraph are required to be entered into a flight logbook in the case of a flight logbook under each subparagraph of Article 131 of the Law.

 

(Aircraft Exempted from carrying Registration Certificate, etc.)
Article 143. The aircraft as may be specified in Ordinances of the Ministry of Transport in accordance with the provisions of Article 59 paragraph 1 of the Law shall be a glider.

 

(Documents to be carried by Aircraft)
Article 144. The aircraft logbook under Article 59 paragraph 1 subparagraph 3 of the Law shall be a flight logbook.

 

Article 144-(2). Documents necessary for flight safety as may be specified Ordinances of the Ministry of Transport under Article 59 paragraph 1 subparagraph 4 of the Law shall be a designation for operating limitations and a flight manual or an operations manual containing matters equivalent thereto.

 

(Devices for Measuring Aircraft Attitude, etc.)
Article 145. The devices with which an aircraft shall be equipped for making an instrument flight, etc. under the provisions of Article 60 of the Law shall be as specified in the column for Devices in the following table [See Table on page 57], corresponding to the relevant Classification of Flight specified in the same table, and the number of such instruments which must be installed shall be not less than the number specified in the corresponding column for minimum number of instruments required for the same table. However, a gyroscopic rate of turn indicator in the case of and aircraft equipped with a gyroscopic bank and pitch indicator capable of indicating every attitude of an aircraft, a free air temperature indicator in the case of a type of aircraft specified by the Minister of Transport among Self Defence Force aircraft, and an airborne DME device in the case of all aircraft other than aircraft used for air transport service with a maximum take-off
